ISOSCAPE summer school

Da Martedì, 01 Agosto 2017 ore 09:00 a Venerdì, 04 Agosto 2017 ore 18:00

Campus San Michele all'Adige

This summer school is targeted to PhD students and postdoctoral researchers interested in learning more about the theoretical and technical aspects of assembling and working with large, spatially distributed stable isotope ratios datasets.
The course is particularly focused in order to give an overview of the analytical and computational tools available to support the building of maps of the spatial isotopic variation (ISOSCAPES). The course will stress the integration of isotopes with other data types and methods within a geospatial framework.
The practical sessions introduce students to tools and techniques for working with spatially explicit environmental datasets, including geodata identification, acquisition, management, and analysis. It will be possible to work on the own data.

Hosts: Federica Camin and Luana Bontempo
