Marynka achieved her master’s degree from Faculty of Chemistry,Nicolaus Copernicus University, in Torun (PL). She defended her thesis entitled “Analysis of 101 pesticides in olive oil by liquid chromatograph with hybrid triple quadruple linear ion trap mass spectrometer” conducted in collaboration with University of Almeria in Spain, Department of Analytical Chemistry.
She continued with postgraduate studies at Faculty of Agriculture Università degli Studi di Milano inItaly. In 2010 she defended her Ph.D entitled: “The interpretation of a breast milk monitoring of dioxin-like and non-dioxin like pollutants inItalyby a PBPK model integrating a novel approach to describe pre- and postnatal mother/child transfer”. During her PhD she have studied human exposure to POPs among Italian women of childbearing age and their infants. This research was carried out in collaboration with Mario Negri Institute for Pharmacological Research in Milan (IT) (breast milk monitoring and analysis) and the Institut National de l'Environnement Industriel et des Risques - INERIS in Verneuil en Halatte (FR) and Electricité de France –EDF R&D in Chatou Cedex (FR) where she worked with physiologically based pharmacokinetic model (PBPK) allowing simulation of the contaminants distribution in the body of the mother and child.
In 2011-2012 she received a post-doc Marie Curie fellowship within the Amarout Programme. During fellow at Imdea-Water in Madrid (SP) she focused on mass spectrometry applications and method development for identification, confirmation and quantification of target and non-target compounds in water (pharmaceuticals, illicit drugs, pesticides and its metabolites) basing on high resolution, accuracy mass measurements and isotopic pattern distribution approaches.
