Technologist in Purification of plant bioactive molecules from complex matrixes

A technologist position under the supervision of Dr. Duccio Cavalieri is available in the Comparative Genomics unit, Computational Biology Centre of the Research and Innovation Centre.

The candidate should purify and isolate natural compounds from complex matrixes as well as develop expression vectors for heterologous production of bioactive molecules in bacteria and yeasts. The purified molecules will be entered in a screening platform for evaluating their effects.
