Pinot Grigio grapes in various clonal selections
Production area
Raoti plot, situated at an altitude of 250 m.a.s.l. on the homonymous conoid in a hilly area near the village of San Michele dell’Adige, 20-30% slope, western exposure. Calcareous matrix, peebly, silty texture, good permeability, discreet presence of skeleton, good organic matter substance equipment and balanced content of nutrients.
Vineyard characteristics
Installation dated 1990, vine density 4.400 plants/hectare, simple Trentino pergola cultivation method.
Harvesting
Grapes harvested by hand around mid-September, average output of 70-80 quintals/hectare (1,7 kg/vine).
Vinification
Traditional white wine vinification process; fermentation conducted partly in stainless steel tanks, partly in small oak barrels. Left at length on the lees before bottling to enrich in taste and texture.

Tasting notes
Straw-yellow colour; fruity aroma reminiscent of pears and with mineral overtones. Full, well-structured taste.
A solidly-built wine, perfect as an aperitif, suitable for first courses, even those with a stronger flavour.
