CRI, the Research and Innovation Centre of the Fondazione Edmund Mach (FEM) is the first One Health Centre in Italy, which carries out interdisciplinary research and innovations in the fields of modern and sustainable agriculture, food and nutrition, environment and health. Our research is recognized at an international level and is part of a wide network of collaborations with many institutes and universities from around the world.
FRUITOMICS represents one of the most important bioeconomy infrastructures in Trentino, supporting agro-zoo technical, food and environmental sectors. The platform will integrate and strengthen existing infrastructure at FEM and link them to other national and international research infrastructure and clusters (e.g. Elixir, ESFRI EMPHASIS, cluster agrifood). It will work on priority research areas agri-food, quality of life, energy and environment by establishing on one site access to specialist skills and advanced high-throughput omics in synergy with other FEM and STAR (Trentino High Education and Research System) research infrastructures.

FEM is a non-profit organization, with private legal status. We offer temporary employee contract “CCPL Fondazioni”, Third level Researcher, yearly Euro 38,158.73 including 13° and 14° months. All openings are effective immediately and will be for three years. Researchers coming to work in Italy from abroad may obtain up to 70% income tax reductions.
