JOSEP VICENT RUBERT BASSEDAS
His research is focused on metabolomics based on liquid chromatography coupled with high-resolution mass spectrometry. Dr. Rubert, curriculum vitae, lists 30 peer-reviewed papers and articles. He is first author for 20 and a major contributor in the remaining publications. He has first-authored 25 peer-reviewed abstracts all of which were presented at national and international meetings. As an example, Dr. Rubert was speaker on the occasion of RAFA 2013 (opening session) and RAFA 2015 (food authenticity session). He has also written 4 book chapters in major books in Food Chemistry field. On the other hand, Dr. Rubert began to lead his own project during the summer 2014, a postdoctoral project, contract funded by Generalitat Valenciana (Conselleria d’Educació, Cultura i Esport) VALi+d postdoctoral “Young researchers 2014” (grant number APOSTD/2014/120). Dr. Rubert is International Editorial Board of Food Additives & Contaminants: Part A.
Dr. Rubert completed his international PhDat the University of Valencia (Spain) in 2012. He has had the privilege of being awarded with “Outstanding Doctoral Research at University of Valencia” (2014) 1st prize of Faculty of Pharmacy. Subsequently, Dr. Rubert started to work at Department of Food Analysis and Nutrition, UCT, from 2012 to 2016. He has been actively involved in research and teaching activities under Prof. Hajslova supervision. Dr. Rubert has held the rank of Assistant Professor for 4 years at the University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague (Czech Republic).
